New Painting! Galaxy and Earth 🌍

This painting, which still is somewhat unfinished but I had to share, is my no-name painting! Lol. I can’t figure out a name yet. You can see the galaxy, and trees melting into the inner core of Earth. In this picture you can’t see the stars as much, and other specs. Once I have this piece finished and dried, I can scan it to the computer. The original piece can be sold, but prints will also be made and available as well.

It’s a little different than my normal paintings as you can tell. It just sort of popped in my head when I had the canvas out. Sometimes I like to go off track and try something else.

Painted in oil, on a 11×14″ canvas I believe (not in front of me). My prints start out at $5.99 with free shipping, and up to $14 framed, also with free shipping!

I think for the next painting I will do something with sunflower, but who knows πŸ™ƒ I love the whole sunflower theme, I love painting them.

Titles & Descriptions

Cherry Blossoms – Painted in oil with a palette knife. Tree branches hanging down with cherry blossoms blooming.

Sunflower Basket” – One of many sunflower paintings I’ve completed! This one was finished in marker. Beautiful sunflowers neatly arranged in a woven basket on a table with other sunflowers hanging around.

World View” – This painting was completed in oil. Looking over rocks, you can see lots of lands, mountains, and a beautiful sky.

3 of 4 paintings have been completed for a while now, and I finally got around to posting it on here, and adding them to my store. You can buy prints from $5.99 and up, and a framed print only costs $14 with free shipping! Check out my store here.

If you haven’t caught up on my Facebook or Instagram, I’ve also experimented with painting a cell phone case for my Blu Vivo 5R phone πŸ˜ƒ. I started cleaning up my art room and got distracted when I saw a blank cell phone case and oil paint, so I couldn’t resist! I painted the entire case in a greenish color with a sunflower on it. I’m not sure how well the paint will hold up on the case, cause I’ve never done this before. I will have to try a sealing coat, let it dry, and try it out to see. Here’s what I did:

For a quick paint job, I think it turned out pretty cool. I’m just waiting for it to dry now. In the meantime, I’ll have to find something else to paint. Well, that’s it for now!

11×14″ Frames Matted to 8×10″ Prints Available

Today I finished editing my store to now include frame purchases. I deleted the “Framed Prints” section, which only had 1 product listed anyways, and added an option to choose a frame size under “Prints” products. I also added a picture to all my print listings to show what the frame would look like, matted. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time or patience for that matter to crop pictures into the middle to show you what the print would look like framed. As time goes by and I sell framed prints, I will take pictures and replace the old with the new.

There is only 1 option as of now to choose from, which is a 11×14″ frame matted to an 8×10″ print. All my prints are still signed and numbered. In the future, I will add an option for 5×7″ and 11×14″ prints to be framed and matted.

How much extra does it cost? Well, for an 8×10″ print to be framed it will cost $14, and that’s with free shipping  That’s $5.50 more for me to personally frame and ship it out to you. Prices are due to change when the cost of materials change (not anytime soon), but you’ll see it in my store!

I framed my original “Sunflower 7” painting and it is now hanging on my wall  I love it so much and looks very professional!

And here’s the picture I was talking about, that I added to every product listing:

Annnddd, here’s a picture of Me n’ Tigger :”) aka *T-i-double-ga-rrrrrr*

🌻 New Sunflower Prints Available! 🌻

In my last post, I finished a sunflower painting with Crayola markers but haven’t listed it on here yet for sale. I recently updated my website so now it’s available in prints starting @ $5.99! All prints will be signed as usual and limited to 100 prints then retired πŸ™ƒ

Here is a low resolution scanned image of the finished painting. When printed, it will be higher quality. My next painting will be in marker also. I’m not sure when it will be finished, but *hint hint* it will be another sunflower painting! πŸ˜ƒ

Crayola Marker Experiment

I decided to change it up a bit (my painting style), and try something experimental. It wasn’t a planned experiment, more along the lines of; I bought the markers originally to start doodling, thinking I was going to get a good result from that alone. Disappointed (lol), I held off on trying anything for a few days. I knew there had to be a way to turn cheap kids markers into something more…artistic. I knew you wouldn’t get the BEST results from it, but what can you expect really?

So you’re probably wondering what prompted me to paint with Crayola markers lol. I’m cheap! πŸ˜‚ Markers are a new media for me as an artist; I never really tried them before to create an art piece. I didn’t want to make a big investment in expensive markers to feel if I liked it and wanted to pursue it further. Artist markers can be pretty expensive as a whole. To really paint a nice picture you need multiple colors, and I’m not talking about a few markers. You’d need like 5 shades of every color, and the price can add up if you’re talking a couple dollars for each pen. I found out Crayola has Super Tip markers that come in a pack of 50 for about $7. I like to look for the cheaper alternatives and try to make the best out of it. Who doesn’t?

I first attempted to paint with them on watercolor paper, but it ended up looking like a child’s painting lol. That’s when I took a few days to leave it alone. I just so happened to find leftover materials I have in my art room that I wanted to experiment with. And surprise surprise, it came out pretty good!

I love sunflowers, so that’s what I decided to go with. Obviously, I don’t plan on revealing the process of creating it, or what I used. That’s going to stay a secret between me and me πŸ™ƒ So here, enjoy the sunflower painting I created with Crayola markers!

This isn’t the highest quality picture, but it will be scanned and ready for prints in a few days. I may even make some tweaks before I do that.

Thanks for reading!

“The Lake in Winter” Completed πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨

Completed today; “The Lake in Winter” impressionist oil painting on canvas. I will have to let it completely dry before being able to sell prints.

You can see snowy mountains in the background, snow-covered trees in front of them, and in the front is a tad warmer temperature of a lake, grass, and trees. The grass has some snow on it.

I believe this was painted on an 11″x14″ canvas, so I will be able to fit it on my flatbed scanner. Yay! πŸ™ƒ

Thanks for taking a look, and please check out my other sites on the upper right-hand side of this page!

3 New Paintings Available for Prints!😎

Today I uploaded 3 pictures of my artwork to my website! Available in prints; sizes available are 3×5, 5×7, 8×10, and 11×14. Prices range from $5.99-$9.99 with free shipping!

My first painting is called “Wheat”. Wheatgrass stands tall in front with the wind blowing in the sunset. I had completed this some time ago but never got around to uploading it to make prints. As with most of my artwork, it is painted in oil.

The middle picture is my art piece “Lavender” that I completed recently. I can get away with simple titles for now lol! This is lavender blowing in the wind with a sky background.

The picture all the way to the right is another recent piece of a girl sucking on a lollipop. You ask what the title is? Take a guess πŸ˜‚ Yes, it’s “Lollipop”. Painted in a blue color because I had blue leftover from my last painting that I didn’t want to waste. It turned out neat though πŸ˜€

These pictures are cut off because I needed to squish them all together for ya’ll to see ’em πŸ˜Ž Nice preview though! To check them out, head to my store and look for Wheat, Lavender, and Lollipop.

5×8″ Size Prints Changed to 5×7″

I recently changed all my prints from size 5×8″ to 5×7″. Why? 5×7″ is the standard and somehow, a long time ago I decided to do 5×8″ lol. The pictures turned out a little too wide as you can imagine. It wasn’t until I realized an order came in for that size (most popular print sizes are 8×10″ and 11×14″) that I noticed it printed pictures that were wider than normal.

Enjoy πŸ™‚

πŸ”₯CampfireπŸ”₯ Oil Painting

This painting of a campfire in oil was completed a week or 2 ago. I have been waiting for it to dry so I can scan it to my computer. This painting was a little difficult; blending the flames into the sky, the darkness of the grass, and blending the wood and embers into the grass. I am overall happy with the result. Each painting I do is a learning experience, and at times frustrating lol.

I love the dark colors together with the fire, and the blue sky. This will be ready to purchase soon, as I have to update the store πŸ™‚ Like all my other paintings, I will only be printing 100 then the painting will be retired. Here it is!

So it’s been a long while since I’ve painted a portrait. I chose “Rocky” because Sylvester Stallone is one of my favorite actors. Finding the right skin tone was challenging, while maintaining the style I paint in. Here’s the picture I’ve taken with my phone:
